ParserTest::setUp(); //reuse setup from parser tests

Calling that causes global leaks. It should be removed or that function fixed to not leak.

In any case, I'm strongly opposed to this revert. I guess if MW devs didn't have to maintain it with code updates and it made to NOT be part of jenkins, then it might be OK.

#Comment by Platonides (talk | contribs)   23:39, 9 January 2012

Feel free to use it. It was a straight revert.

I was surprised on r108358 that it could be removed. If it isn't doing anything there anymore, it should be removed.

#Comment by Brion VIBBER (talk | contribs)   23:58, 9 January 2012

Removing the fixme; parserTests.php is still faster and more capable than the phpunit test runner at running unit tests, and should not be removed at this time.

#Comment by Aaron Schulz (talk | contribs)   23:59, 9 January 2012

The fixme was due to the global leakage being added back.

#Comment by Brion VIBBER (talk | contribs)   00:00, 10 January 2012

Shouldn't the fixme belong on whatever originally added it then?
