As you confirmed in bug 32510 comment #2 ""kel'" does mean "language" indeed".

I think "kel'" has to be removed from here to be consistent. No language has a prefix/suffix like "language".

I don't agree. If it is their way to name their language, then we shouldn't impose a rule of not having the word "language" in it. In fact, "Bahasa" means language, then "Bahasa Banjar", "Bahasa Indonesia", "Basa Jawa" and "Basa Banyumasan" should be changed as well. And we have numerous more examples in the list (like "Reo Mā`ohi").

It's also possible that "vepsän" is an inflection, so it might be incorrect now.
