Moving language files around breaks the update of translation on live site with LocalisationUpdate. If possible, add a symlink until this get deployed on WMF wikis.

In my opinion, yes. It is possible to look into the logs of the run on WMF wikis?

The logs can contains some errors like: 

Cannot get the contents of \FlaggedRevs\presentation\language\FlaggedRevs.i18n.php

You can create a frontend -> presentation symlink in the 1.18 version of MW on /home.

I have added the link. The issue is that now 'fronted' is non versioned :-/
